It starts with the hull
The hull is the part that takes the punishment, so it gets the attention. HAVN hulls are laid up as a controlled laminate schedule — not a single rushed skin — to give the right balance of stiffness and impact resistance. A stiff hull rides better, slams less and transfers less fatigue into the structure over thousands of hours of use.
- Engineered deadrise: the hull shape is tuned to cut chop and stay predictable when loaded.
- Reinforced high-load zones: the keel, transom and tube bond lines are built up where stress concentrates.
- Proper cure: every hull is given the time and conditions to cure fully, because a hull is only as strong as its weakest layup.
Tubes that take abuse
The tubes are what make a RIB forgiving — they absorb contact, add buoyancy and let crews come alongside without damage. HAVN tubes are specified for marine UV and abrasion exposure, with reinforced rubbing strakes where the boat meets docks, jetties and other vessels day in, day out.

Deck hardware is not an afterthought
Cleats, rails, lifting points and console fittings are the parts that get loaded hardest and corrode first.
